Hole in One Competition Winner

This year’s tournament has so far seen its first Hole in One winner. Congratulations to golfer Ben Dowding, who drove away in a Jaguar, who partnered with Investec for the Hole in One competition.
Ben scored the hole in one on the 16th hole at The Carrick.
Commenting on his win, he says: “I hit a 3/4 7 iron with the aim to get right back to the hole over the final bunker. It was a great strike and right on line. It landed about 15 feet short and we lost sight of it behind the bunker. After the guys ran up to check and found it had gone in, I was absolutely stunned speechless. Investec have put on a great day and getting the hole in one was just absolutely unbelievable”.
