The final of the Investec Open 2012 will take place on Thursday 27 September at the prestigious Ailsa Course, Turnberry.
The pressure is on as the qualifiers go head to head for their chance to win an all-expenses paid, two-night break for four people at the 5-star luxury Old Course Hotel, St Andrews with a round on the prestigious Old Course itself.
The course
Home to the iconic Ailsa, an Open Championship course four times over, Turnberry offers one of the world's great golfing experiences. Watson, Norman and Price have all won the famous Claret Jug here. And, in 2009, Stewart Cink added his name to that exclusive list following his play-off triumph over Tom Watson at the 138th Open. Measuring 6,440 yards with a par of 69, the Ailsa Course is located next to Firth of Clyde, with superb views across the Mull of Kintyre and the Isle of Arran. Between you and the safety of the fairway lies 200 yards of open water and perilous rock. This is what links golf is all about.
