The Brabazon course
The majestic fairways and carpet-smooth greens of The Brabazon form a world-famous stage on which some of golf's most exhilarating dramas have played out.

Its meticulous design involves tight fairways, perilous bunkers, lakes and fast undulating greens, creating holes that have challenged some of the game's greatest. Walk in the footsteps of legends… Seve's historic drive onto the 10th green, Sam Torrence's famous putt won the 1995 Ryder Cup match for the European Team, Christie O'Connor's belligerent 2 iron across the lake at the 18th. More recent changes have seen the 6th hole become one of the most demanding, rated highly by modern-day great Lee Westwood.

Moortown has always held a richly deserved reputation as one of the country's finest Championship Golf courses. Originally designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, Moortown is set in 175 acres of dramatically contrasting mainly level woodland and moorland. From the opening par 5 there are many fine holes to enjoy including the new 6th, rated the most difficult, and the famous Gibraltar par 3 10th with its sloping plateau green, the Club's signature hole. Typical of all great courses there is a classic finish. With its fairway favouring strategically placed bunkers, the 18th requires two exceptional shots to find the well-guarded green which nestles under the Clubhouse windows.

PGA® Centenary Course
The PGA® Centenary Course, created by Jack Nicklaus, is a modern classic. Even for a champion and acclaimed golf architect like Nicklaus, The PGA Centenary Course was a challenge. It had to be a great course and, set as it is in the heart of Scotland, the country that gave the world golf, Nicklaus described the course as "The finest parcel of land in the world I have ever been given to work with".

A feature of the PGA Centenary Course is the feast of views of the spectacular countryside in which Gleneagles is set. Putting on the two-tier second green, you are distracted by the lush panorama of the rich Perthshire straths. As you move westwards over the next few holes, the rugged Grampians come into view on the right, then distantly purple ahead, Ben Vorlich and the mountains above the Trossachs.
